Concerts, theatre and exhibitions are now a fixed constituent of the programme of events in Fürstenfeldbruck. Since the opening of the Culture and Leisure Centre, choirs, orchestras and artist groups have graced the monastic centre with high quality performances. The proximity to the state capital of Munich is the perfect prerequisite for a visit to the opera, the German theatre or the Munich Kammerspiele (chamber plays).
Amper Oasis
The sauna village in the Amper oasis of Fürstenfeldbruck entices with a Finnish sauna, light sauna, steam bath, plunge basins and foot spas, massages and solarium, as well as a large open air area. Accommodated in log cabins made from 300 year old Finnish Kelo pine with grass-covered roofs, the sauna has a particularly unique charm. The outdoor and indoor pools are directly attached. 5-Lakes District
The 5-Lakes District is a name for the area of land between the Starnberger See and the Ammersee. The famous panorama of the northern Alps and the wonderfully clear lakes in the valley have made the Alpine foothills world famous. As well as hiking, cycling and watersports, the region is famous for its numerous beautiful chapels and the Andechs Monastery.
